Is a Danish Trolley and a CC Container the same?

Yes. The correct name for the European standard flower & pot plant trolley is “CC Container”, but in many countries it is referred to as "Danish Trolley" – or even "Danish Container". 

Is the base of the CC Container usable as a shelf?

Yes: You can use the base as any other shelf of the CC Container.

For invoicing purposes – no: You only pay for the separate shelves – the wood in the bottom of the base is included in the price of the CC Container base.

What do I do if I have lost a padlock for a CC Container?

If you lose a CC black padlock for a CC Container, or if you accidentally receive a CC Container without padlock, you can buy a replacement padlock from your local CC Office.

If you acquire a number of containers without padlocks and contracts - e.g. by taking over another company - you can contact CC for a "Repair & Maintenance Contract". This will allow you to bring the containers into the CC Pool System, with all the benefits this brings. The containers will need to be of usable quality. You will then receive the quantity of padlocks needed at a specified price, and the containers will become CC Containers, fully usable in the CC Pool System at a low annual pool fee.

We would add that containers to be brought into the CC System must also have CC metal nameplates - if not, then these will need to be supplied under the "Repair & Maintenance Contract" at no further cost, but in that case, CC will need the containers to be taken to a CC Depot local to you for the nameplates to be fitted.

What do I do if a padlock of a CC Container is broken?

If the broken CC Container padlock is minimum 2/3 intact (2/3 of the black plastic part), you can send it to your local CC Office and ask for a free replacement.
