CC Low Noise Dolly - the low-noise rolling quarter pallet in steel

With certified noise levels below 60 dB, the CC Low Noise load carriers ensure that goods can now be delivered anywhere around the clock.

The noise levels of the rolling ½ and ¼ steel euro pallets CC Low Noise Rolly and CC Low Noise Dolly from Container Centralen (CC) have been tested by TNO (a Dutch independent scientific research organisation) to acquire the PIEK certification. Noise levels of both pallets stay within the maximum of 60 dB(A) to classify for this certification.

The CC Low Noise Dolly is a rolling quarter pallet of standard European dimensions, with internal dimensions corresponding to a ¼ Euro Pallet. The external dimensions of the CC Low Noise Dolly are a little wider, therefore providing space for the protection of carried product through the supply chain and in store. The unit has been developed for the transport of modular crates and cardboard boxes, plastic trays for bottled drinks, etc., and is designed to roll directly to supermarket floor as a merchandising display unit. Its narrow profile in height makes it almost unnoticeable, which is fully intentional – so customers see the product on sale, not what it is sitting on.

The design of the product makes it very suitable for mechanical handling and automation. The CC Low Noise Dolly can be handled from all sides with a pallet or lift truck. It is stackable and has a patented swivel wheel design that has a groove formed around the load bearing outer surface. When stacking, this locates onto a raised peg in a locating pocket on the CC Low Noise Dolly below. Tests have shown that this dramatically improves safety from falling over due to accidental side impact to a stack.

The CC Low Noise Dolly is built as a carrying frame fitted with 2 fixed and 2 swivel wheels. The strong frame has smooth rounded corners to make it easy to manoeuvre and position as well as being safe in use.
